William J. Bujalos, MATAAC Director
Mr. Bujalos is Director of the MidAtlantic Trade Adjustment Assistance Center, a.k.a. MATAAC, a non-profit headquartered just outside Philadelphia. He is one of eleven (11) Regional Directors of Trade Adjustment Assistance for Firms - a federal trade remedy established by Congress in 1978 as part of the Trade Act. He is responsible for the administration of the program in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey and the District of Columbia. A graduate engineer, his career spans almost four (4) decades of manufacturing, engineering, business and management consulting experience. Prior to his appointment in 1998, he held a variety of executive positions in the chemicals, plastics, energy, medical devices and automotive systems industries with public organizations like Union Carbide Corporation, Air Products, Merck, ESB International, American Hospital Supply Corporation and several private companies. He has been an executive with one of the east coast's largest management consulting firms, and currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Business Council, having served on its Executive Committee and as its Treasurer. He has also testified before Congress on the effects of the trade imbalance on America's small cap manufacturing sector.

Sal Mengine, Project Manager
Sal is engaged in new business development, project and client management, project-cost tracking, and marketing efforts for MATAAC. He holds a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and a BA in English Writing from the University of Pittsburgh. Over the past 15 years, Sal has worked as a Project Engineer for Buckeye Pipeline Company in Emmaus, PA, and as a Project Manager for GeoFields, Inc., in Atlanta, GA. Just before becoming a member of MATAAC, Sal owned and operated two successful businesses. His specialties are project management, information technology, business analysis, Geographic Information Systems, and marketing.

John W. Mercer, Project Manager
John is one of our project managers who will prepare your certification petition, develop a diagnostic and adjustment plan, and assist you with the management of your grant projects. Over the last 30+ years John has held a variety of executive positions in industries including electronics, metal stamping, electroplating and software with public organizations. His formal education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Doctorate degree in Educational Philosophy.

Loreli Voltmer, Project Administrator
Loreli is a Project Administrator for the MidAtlantic Trade Adjustment Assistance Center. Her responsibilities include petition submittal, marketing/business development, WWW.MATAAC.ORG website edits and FileMaker Pro 9 database administration for the office. She also serves as a backup to the Financial/Administrative Manager as needed.
Loreli has extensive business administration and database experience and has worked in analytical, administrative and operational capacities in personal insurance, pension, health and welfare, and computer engineering and manufacturing industries. Previous employers were Liberty Mutual, Watson Wyatt Worldwide and Digital Equipment Corporation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Adrienne Woodruff, Financial/Administrative Manager
Adreienne has been with MATAAC for 25 years. She joined MATAAC in 1982 as a Receptionist and quickly progressed to Secretary to the Director. In 1987, her title and responsibilities changed to Administrative Assistant, including contract administration. The next step was Systems/Report Specialist, as assistant to the Financial Manager. In 1994, she was promoted to Administrative/Financial Manager, where her duties now include grant management; accounting functions; monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting; annual audits; office management; and project monitoring. She received her AA degree in Business Administration from Bucks County Community College, and is currently attending Temple University working toward her BS in Accounting.
