Types of Industries TAA Funds A U.S. Government Accounting Office study of the Trade Adjustment Assistance for firms program shows that, at the time of certification, about 40% of the participating companies were involved in the production of industrial products and machinery, computers, electronic equipment or apparel. Their annual sales ranged from a low of $1.6M to more than $219M, with median sales of $3.2M.
